Monotch expands in Germany

The leading software development company in C-ITS platforms opens an office in Germany, Monotch GmbH.

As part of the expansion of the international operating smart mobility company, Monotch recognised the need for a local presence to stimulate growth in other parts of Europe. Together with the opening of the German branch, Monotch also appointed a German-based Business Development Manager DACH, René Fritz-Mekas.

Expected growth in Germany

Only recently, Monotch announced its partnership with Traviation DSE, a German traffic consulting company with over 25 years of experience and now announced their local German subsidiary and local Business Development Manager.

“Monotch ambition is to grow internationally. Therefore, these expansions are needed to bring us the success we seek. Traviation and our new colleague René bring in a lot of knowledge and experience and have the right network to take this next step,” Menno Malta, CEO and founder of Monotch, explains.

“My ambition is to spread the word to expand TLEX® in the DACH region and to support our local partners such as Traviation. We wish to provide the mobility ecosystem with a C-ITS platform that offers the most value to every organisation and, finally, the road users,” René confirms.

Proven platforms for smart mobility

“We have now reached the next level in our organic company growth,” Menno Malta tells us. He continues, “With our current portfolio of international projects and our growth of partners and employees, we have proven the need for our platforms. This growth brings us many new exciting opportunities. We keep growing our service and see more companies, organisations, and governments show interest in our innovative and proven solutions.”

International interest and projects

Gary Lin, International Business Developer, adds, “At this moment, we have projects in four different European countries, and we see the interest in our Traffic Live Exchange (TLEX®) platforms growing. My colleague Mark Walker, project manager, and I recently did a webinar for ITS New Zealand, which drew in many interested attendees. Furthermore, at the latest ITS Europe congress, Monotch chaired one of the Special Interest Sessions about ITS, which got much positive feedback from the participants. In addition, next month, September 20, our CEO, Menno, will also be one of the panellists at a session at the ITS World Congress in Los Angeles. We generate a lot of interest in our services from all these sessions.”

Furthermore, in general, it is noticeable that the digitalisation of traffic is no longer in its test phase. More and more societies are getting ready for a future in which digitalisation and automation support safer, smarter, efficient and more sustainable mobility by implementing tools such as C-ITS platforms.
