Caspar de Jonge
Program Manager Mobility & Transitions at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management The Netherlands
Biography
Caspar de Jonge has been working at the Directorate-general for Mobility at the Ministry of Infrastructure & Water Management (and its predecessors) since 1998 in various positions that have ‘acceleration and renewal’ as a common thread.
Since 2011, he has been responsible for investments in various projects and programs in Smart Mobility and Intelligent Transport Systems, enhancing digitization and increasing intelligence in Mobility, Traffic and Transport based on public-private partnerships and co-investments. In addition to technology, it is also explicitly about organization and forms of cooperation, sustainable revenue models, interoperability and social return. Mobility is increasingly viewed from an integral perspective and in an urban context, in combination with major challenges in areas such as urban planning, climate, energy transition and the information society.
